Notice of Intent to Change LAECA Constitution
The LAECA Board has asked that changes be made to the Terms of Office for the Election of Officers, so that the constitution is more in line with our current structure and understandable.
Original Language in the Constitution:
Article 4: Officers and Duties, Section 1: Officers and Terms of Office
1.3 The terms of office will be staggered in odd or even years
Motion to change the wording in Constitution to read:
1.3 The election of the officers will be staggered in odd and even years with the term of office to begin January 1 of the following year.
